International tournaments are magic, and they turn (almost) everyone football mad for a few beautiful weeks. What better time for XBOX to add EA’s FC24 to their Game Pass Ultimate offering?
As one of a number of FA sponsors, XBOX sought to create content that stands out from the crowd, promoted the new inclusion of FC24 and celebrated the England International team as players off the pitch, as well as on.
Through player access afforded to us by their sponsorship, we partnered with the gaming brand, as well as the FA, to produce We Know Ball - a fun and dynamic player-led challenge concept executed with three stars from the national team - Aaron Ramsdale, Anthony Gordon and Declan Rice - In which we put their knowledge of iconic England moments to the test, with XBOX’s product at the heart of the action - through unbelievably accurate EA FC recreations.
Squad Goals
Alongside this we also created short-form entertaining assets with the 3 players finding out their opinions on their England teammates, with all several questions having an XBOX/gaming focus, enabling a natural inclusion of product and brand.
We created this leveraging the FCO video team, who have a wealth of experience and knowledge creating scroll-stopping, engagement-driving, player-led video content.
