Google’s mission was simple… They wanted to increase visibility of women’s football at the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia, while placing Google Pixel and its features at the heart of the experience.
Teaming up with TikTok, we produced daily content to captivate football fans throughout the summer with everything being shot on Pixel. From challenges and on-the-ground creators to fan reactions and influencer-led episodes, this campaign redefined storytelling at an international tournament.
With a whopping 135 assets across 6 markets in just 35 days, Football on Pixel made a resounding debut, poised to continue its impactful mission in the women’s game and beyond.
Off the back of the success of the Women’s World Cup, we moved into the 2023/24 season with the focus on helping to increase visibility on Google Pixel’s partnerships with respected leagues and teams, such as England, Arsenal, Liverpool, and the Frauen-Bundesliga, leveraging the new Pixel 8 in doing so.
