INDIVISA’S MORGAN BRENNAN WRITES FOR THE DRUM ON THE WOMEN’S WORLD CUP BUILD-UP

Ahead of the Women’s World Cup, Footballco’s Head of Indivisa, Morgan Brennan was asked by The Drum to provide insight on why the build-up could be seen as more muted than expected.

In her article, Brennan discusses the challenges posed by a delayed broadcast deal and Southern Hemisphere time zones, but also highlights the fact that our expectations are being guided by our expectations from men’s World Cups.

Brennan argues that while expectations should be high, they should also be different. This is a different audience, creating new norms guided by a passionate Gen-Z fanbase.

Brennan also highlights some excellent Women’s World Cup campaigns, including our own partnership with with Google Pixel across both GOAL and Indivisa in the UK and across EMEA.

As part of the partnership, Footballco is championing Pixel FC, a world-class collective of creators and presenters to cover the World Cup with Pixel phones, as well as creating content with the Lionesses to support Google's Football on Pixel, summer campaign.
